MY POLICY ON CONTRACTS

Dear Couples,

ABOUT OUR CONTRACT

Every contract we sign has a 'Time Reservation Deposit' required which

guarantees my appearance and activates my services on your date.

The moment I receive your deposit,

it means no one else can hire me on your event date, period.

During the high demand summer weekends of June, July, August & September)

I typically turn away twice or thrice that many prospective bookings because

I have made a solemn promise to perform my duties for you . . .

AND YOU, my client, agree

to pay the balance owed to me on our booking date when I show up and provide

my promised service for you.

This is a good faith agreement that protects both parties.

To be clear, our booking agreement is a non-refundable time-reservation deposit.

In many cases, a time-reservation deposit is only good for the specific agreed-to date. A rescheduled agreement should require a brand-new deposit for the brand new date.

HOWEVER, in the event should any booked gigs be canceled due to circumstances

beyond your control like the COVID ban of group gatherings I, Dan Weisman, will, whenever possible, apply your original time-reservation deposit of our COVID-canceled contract to a new date, should you choose to reschedule within 12 months from our original booking date . . . provided I have not been previously booked by another client on your rescheduled event date. Your original deposit is not transferrable to any other client

or occasion. (Like a school fundraiser etc.)
